Please click the links above for information about residential sales and
purchases.
Please ask for
Sue Whitehead or Chris Wallworth at our City Centre office
Louise Breen or Melvin Berryman at our Headington office.
We recommend that you contact us to deal with your conveyancing at
the same time as you put your house on the market. We can then
obtain copies of your titles and arrange for you to complete the property
information forms so that we are ready to send out a complete package
to the buyer’s solicitor when you have agreed a sale.
If the estate agent suggests that you use their conveyancing services,
please remember that:
You are free to ask any solicitor or conveyancer of your choice to
act for you on your sale and purchase.
The estate agent cannot refuse to put your offer forward to the
seller of the house because you have not agreed to use the estate
agent’s conveyancer.
A headline price which looks cheap may become expensive when
you add in additional fees for dealing with the mortgage and
completing the stamp duty form. Always ring us – we are often
cheaper overall.
We have two offices in Oxford where we can meet you in person.
We are not a call centre.
If you ask us to act for you, your conveyancing will be handled by
a qualified lawyer.
We do not pay estate agents, mortgage brokers or other organisations
for referring clients to us. more
